Black Robb brings a wealth of experience in media, tech, culture, and community, deeply influenced by the vibrant energy and rich culture of New York City. He served as co-producer and head of social media at the Bronx International Film Festival, where he connected global stories with local audiences. After earning a degree from Hunter College, he led social media and content creation for the school’s Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development, launching data-driven and content-rich projects that resonated with the school’s diverse student body. In collaboration with the Film & Media Department, he produced the digital series “The Club Scene” and “My Top Three Tips,” tapping into Hunter’s cultural pulse to engage and reach students. His work with the Hip-Hop Education Center has evolved over the years, from his involvement in the H2O (Hip-Hop Odyssey) International to co-hosting the Defuse News Podcast. Currently, he serves as Co-Curator and Project Manager for their partnership with Maysles Documentary Center. In addition to working with cultural and civil organizations such as imageNation and The Loving Day Project, he combines cultural awareness with media strategy to create compelling events and campaigns. Black Robb’s deep connection to New York City continually informs his ability to craft narratives that bridge culture, media, and business.
