Richard D. Boyd, Esq. is an entrepreneurial attorney experienced in entertainment, media, technology and intellectual property. His transactional practice currently focuses on structuring and negotiating interactive media agreements and cloud-oriented business deals.
Informed by over 20 years of prior experience as an entertainment and experiential events executive, Rich’s unique diversity of skills and “beyond the box” insights have aided his ascent to trusted advisor for a distinguished group of entertainment industry luminaries and award-winning clients.
Rich formerly served as the Vice President of Finance and Entertainment Law chair for the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, co-chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts and Sports Lawyers section committee on diversity, and provided strategic fundraising consultation to over 150 nonprofit organizations in the United States and abroad utilizing an innovative technology he co-developed with Sophist LLC, the Text-to-Pledge® mobile fundraising program (www.texttopledge.com), which has facilitated over $40 Million in charitable contributions since inception.
